Let the Festival Begin! November 7th at the MACC! Gate opens at 8 AM!

We are pinching ourselves! We learned about the Made in Maui County Festival too late to apply last year and we were pretty sure we would have way too much competition this year to get in, but WE GOT IN!

We invite everyone to come and see the many fine crafts, art, and other hand-made goods. Be sure to visit us first! Last year, many people sold out early!

Top 5 things to do in Maui - Summer Edition

Maui is more than beautiful beaches and palm trees. However, we can't deny those are couple good reasons we love it here! We enjoy exploring our island home, and we love sharing it too. That's why we've put together our suggested top 5 things to do in Maui with your keiki this Summer! We hope this read inspires you to get out there and make memories with your little ones.

1. Maui Tropical Plantation - Waikapu

Between flying on the zip lines, to feeding ducks, and coconut husking lessons; you're in for a full day of adventure at the Maui Tropical Plantation. Stop in at their fresh produce stand for something delicious and the Country Store to shop some of our Three Coconuts Maui keiki clothes!

2. Baby Beach - Spreckelsville

If you're looking for the best family friendly beach on Maui, look no further than Baby Beach on Maui's North Shore. White sand bottom, aqua water, and a reef breakwall keeps this natural pool-like swimming area, calm.

3. Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice - Lahina, Kahilui, Kihei

Whether you're visiting or a local to Maui, Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice is a must stop after a day at the beach. We recommend their coconut, guava, and mango flavors. Oh and don't forget the vanilla ice cream at the bottom and a snow cap on top!

4. Kula Country Farms - Upcountry

If you're looking for something interactive that the whole family will enjoy, take a drive up to Kula Country Farms for an afternoon of strawberry picking. During the Summer they welcome visitors to come and self pick their delicious strawberries. The view of Maui's glowing coastline below is not too shabby either.

5. Maui Ocean Center - Wailuku

Is the sea is what you seek, the Maui Ocean Center is the spot. Known as the largest tropical aquarium in the western hemisphere, this is an excellent spot to bring the family for a day of ocean education and fun.

We're very pleased to see our designs available in their beautiful Country Store! Onesies, Palaka, and more for your littles, boy and girl. Be sure to stop in and check us out! We definitely recommend bringing your little ones with you to check out the grounds.

Sharing the Hawaiian Language

Aren't babies just the best! It it so much fun to watch them in their early months; growing, learning, discovering.

Here at Three Coconuts we're approaching the Hawaiian language in baby steps so to speak, so your little ones can learn about Hawaii alongside their favorite animals. These animals are paired with their Hawaiian names & printed on all of our pieces. It's our way of sharing a small piece of our island home & it's heritage with you; no matter where in the world you & your little 'Crazy Coco' may be.

One of our favorite Three Coconuts characters is our KOHOLA, or whale. Hand drawn & illustrated right here on Maui, you can find this character on all of our silhouettes.

With love, Marla
